Jackson Road Clean-up, October 12, 2019

Once again a group from Indian Mills Historical Society ventured into Wharton Forest to help keep our environment clean and “give-back” to the community that we all love so much. It is amazing how much trash one small section of road can generate in just 6 months! About 10 members gathered bright an early at the Shamong Municiple Building before spreading out down the section of Jackson Road between Atsion Road and the boarder of Atco. We managed to fill over 20 large trash bags with an assortment of cans, plastic bottle, paper cups and assorted refuse–plus a tire and some concrete blocks. Hopefully, our little section of road will stay clean for the next few months.
