The IMHS is governed by a nine member board of officers and trustees elected by the members of the society. Elections are held on a rotating basis, with one or two trustees elected each year. Many of our trustees have been life long members of the society and contributed greatly to its success and longevity. This page introduces you to the current board and provides some insight into why IMHS is so important to them.
Joseph Reinhart, President
Joe has served as the President of the Indian Mills Historical Society for 9 years and has been a resident of Indian Mills for over 42 years. He originally grew up in Pennsauken, NJ but now enjoys the rural, peaceful surroundings of Indian Mills. Joe’s unique abilities as a full time Program Delivery Manager for FEMA are also put to good use locally. He is active in many civic organizations including the volunteer fire company, forestry service, Hazmat team, and local Emergency Management team. His hope is that through continued outreach, more IMHS members will become active in the organization and aid in the renovation of our own historical facility.
Marie Kulschinsky, Vice President
Marie lived in Shamong for 33 years prior to recently moving to Southampton; and, although she no longer resides in Indian Mills, she is still very active in the historical society. In fact, Marie is working on her 3rd term as Vice President of IMHS. She coordinates the monthly meetings and organizes guest lecturers. She has always had an interest in history and majored in the subject at Old Dominion University. Marie enjoys being in a country setting which has good schools, shopping and ready access to the Jersey shore. She is also active in the real estate business with over 27 years as a Realtor for Berkshire Hathaway Fox & Roach.

Laura has been very active in the society and has held most of the executive positions at one time or another. She cautions not to miss election night at the society if you don’t want to be selected for an office! She has strong family ties to the area and can’t think of anywhere she would rather live. Outside of the society, Laura works as a private secretary.
Gail Currier, Trustee
Neil is a relative newcomer to IMHS; but, he is a long time resident of the area. Neil moved from England to Medford, NJ when he was 9yrs old and later, as an adult, purchased a farm in Shamong, which was a life-long dream. Growing up in England, and then touring many European countries, has given Neil a great appreciation for history. He is dedicated to the preservation of history through digital media. And, he looks forward to serving the members of IMHS.
